Kirsten Davie
Dip Phys, PGDipPhty MT, Advanced Practitioner, MBA
Kirsten is the principal at Khandallah Physiotherapy Centre, having started the business in 1992. She is an Advanced Practitioner of Manipulative Therapy and has been a past President of Physiotherapy New Zealand. Kirsten is currently working in a clinical and strategic management capacity at the Centre, while also assisting with the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association’s post graduate courses.
Greg Lynch
Dip.Phys, Dip.MT, Dip.MDT, MNZCP (Advanced Practitioner – Manipulative Therapy)
Greg is a Director and Senior Physiotherapist at both InForm Physiotherapy and Wellington Sports Medicine. He is an Advanced Practitioner in Manipulative Therapy and Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and is also an accredited provider for High Performance Sport New Zealand. Greg lectures extensively at post-graduate level both locally and overseas, in his capacity as a Senior Lecturer with the McKenzie Institute International. Particular areas of interest are chronic lower back pain and sports injuries with a particular interest in swimmers and runners.
Alan Mugglestone
M.C.S.P, Grad Dip Phys, Dip MDT
Alan has been Company Directory and Physiotherapist at Action Physiotherapy since he started it with his wife Jane in 1995. Prior to this he had been the Superintendent of an Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Centre in the United Kingdom and a post graduate lecturer with the McKenzie Institute. Alan values continuous development and advocates for post-graduate learning for himself and his team. Particular areas of interest are back and neck pain. He has also researched and presented papers at the World Congress of Physical Therapy, has been involved in car seating design and has a long association with Toyota New Zealand.
Fran Smith
Dip OT, PGDip Ergonomics, NZROT
Fran is Director and Occupational Therapist at Ergo OT, which she began in 2004. She has a post-graduate Diploma in Ergonomics. Fran is a member of the Ergonomics Society, the Biofeedback Society of New Zealand, the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, the New Zealand Occupational Therapy Association and the Manual Handling Association of New Zealand. Particular areas of interest are REDO wellness training, breathing education, biofeedback, workstation assessments, the ergonomic design of environments and equipment, return to work programmes and pain management.
Gill Stotter
Dip Phty, Advanced Practitioner, Dip MT, MPNZ, MNZCP (MT)
Gill is the Director and principal Physiotherapist at Hutt Physiotherapy, which she formed in 2004 and also works as a Physiotherapist at Wellington Sports Medicine. She is an Advanced Practitioner of Manipulative Therapy, an accredited provider for High Performance Sport New Zealand and the current President of Physiotherapy New Zealand. Gill specialises in musculoskeletal, sports and orthopaedic physiotherapy, with particular interest in education, prevention and management of problems using a multidisciplinary approach.
